About me
I am Quirin currently working as Junior Cyber Security Engineer @ noventic group. Furthermore, I enthusiastically engage in multiple volunteer roles and various functions.
Experience
As a Junior Cyber Security Engineer, I am responsible for the information security of the noventic group. My tasks include developing security concepts, advising development teams. I am also responsible for conducting vulnerability analyses, creating security policies and a couple of more tasks.
Working student in the Corporate & IT Security Team. Independent development & support of vulnerability management based on open source tools such as DefectDojo, DependencyTrack, Checkov, Wazuh and others in coordination with the the development teams. Furthermore, execution of (control) pentests and advising teams on vulnerability remediation & prevention.
Rescue diver, motorboat driver & trainer at the Ansbach water rescue service, regular participation in fast-responce services and management of training in the local swimming pool. Design and support of the intranet system landscape based on Nextcloud & website (Wordpress) as well as creation of various print documents. Since 2021 management of the local group as chairman of the board.
Voluntary work as system administrator, developer & IT-SEC specialist. Responsible for Google Workspace, DigitalOcean, Wordpress, 3CX, Jira & Jira ITSM, among others. Analysis and conversion of the system landscape according to IT-GS.

During my time at THG, I achieved a lot. In my final years, I took the lead in the SMV (Student Council) activities. In this role, I organized or advised on the majority of student events. Representing the school and advocating for student interests within the school were my main responsibilities.
In addition to my involvement in the SMV, I was primarily responsible for the school’s event equipment for most of my school years. I technically supported and managed concerts, theater productions, and various events, which included sound, lighting, and video technology.
I also utilized my experiences from previous volunteer engagements and served as a school paramedic in emergency situations.
